This artistic research project explores methods for designing multisensory textile objects that invite reflective movement. Reflective movement has significant potential to support the development of selfhood and relational awareness, contributing to mental well-being. Through practice-based artistic research, the project investigates this potential by examining embodied experience.
Beginning with movement and perception as the foundation of the design process, the research explores how multisensory textile objects can encourage people to move, reflect, and engage more deeply with themselves and their surroundings.
